Job summary

Vantage Point Global is seeking experienced Software Test Analysts for a large-scale insurance transformation in London. The role focuses on Guidewire or IDIT platforms, with a hybrid working model and occasional travel to Europe.

You will design, execute, and maintain test cases across policy, claims, and billing, collaborating with BAs, developers and stakeholders to ensure requirements are met and quality is delivered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in software testing within the insurance sector.
• Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire or IDIT (essential).
• Good understanding of insurance processes across Policy, Claims, and Billing.
• Experience across SIT, UAT, and E2E testing.
• ISTQB certification desirable.
• Experience with test automation is a plus.
• Knowledge of SQL and API testing is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain test cases across Guidewire (ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, BillingCenter) or IDIT.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Analyse requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
• Identify, document, and track defects with cross-functional teams.

Overview

We are supporting a leading insurance client on a large‑scale core systems transformation and are looking to engage experienced Software Test Analysts with strong exposure to Guidewire or IDIT platforms. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the quality and success of a major transformation programme, working across policy, claims, and billing systems in a modernised insurance landscape. The role is based in London, with a hybrid working model, with occasional expensed travel to Europe.

The Role

As a Test Analyst, you will be responsible for designing and executing high‑quality testing across multiple workstreams. You will work closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure that solutions meet business requirements and are delivered to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain test cases across Guidewire (ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, BillingCenter) or IDIT
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end testing
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios
• Identify, document, and track defects in collaboration with cross‑functional teams
• Support and contribute to test automation initiatives
• Work closely with development and business teams to ensure high‑quality deliverables

Required Experience
