Job summary

develop is seeking a QA Engineer to join their in-house engineering team in Fareham, Hampshire. This hands-on manual testing role covers mobile (Flutter), web, and internal platforms.

You will carry out manual testing, write clear test cases, log bugs, and collaborate with developers and designers. There is potential to grow into automation, UAT, or further testing responsibilities as you advance.

Qualifications

  • Detail-focused mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality software.
  • Experience in manual QA for mobile or web applications.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to teamwork.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work across multiple platforms.
  • Exposure to tools such as Postman, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Familiarity with Git, REST APIs, accessibility testing, or CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience testing apps built with Flutter.

QA Engineer | Manual Testing | Onsite in Fareham, Hampshire | Full-Time | £30,000 – £40,000

We’re working with a rapidly expanding tech company based in Fareham. As they continue to scale, they’re looking to bring a QA Engineer into their in-house engineering team to help ensure quality across their mobile (Flutter), web, and internal platforms.


This is a hands‑on manual testing role suited for a Junior or Mid‑Level QA professional who is passionate about quality, detail, and collaboration. You'll play a vital role in identifying bugs, verifying features, and working closely with cross‑functional teams. There's also potential to grow into test automation or software development if you’re interested.


Responsibilities:

  • Carry out manual testing across mobile apps, web platforms, and internal systems
