Job summary

Origin8tive Ltd. is seeking a methodical and results-driven tester to identify and apply test procedures ensuring product quality.

The role requires DV security clearance and a strong background in software development with analytical skills. Responsibilities include defining tests, managing data, liaising with developers, running diagnostics, and developing test automation scripts while reporting findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• A degree or equivalent in computer science or IT; or an ISTQB Qualification.
• A minimum of 2 year’s experience in test analysis.
• Experience with computer software and coding.
• Knowledge of software development.
• Excellent analytical and diagnostic skills.
• Experience in test techniques and programming.
• Strong planning and organisational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Identify products to be assessed in the software review process.

Job description

We are looking for a methodical and results-driven person to identify and apply test procedures to ensure product quality. The ideal candidates should have a passion for detecting and solving problems with an eye for detail, in-depth knowledge of software development and analytical skills.

Due to the nature of our work, candidates must hold a valid Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance at the time of application to be considered for this role.

Key responibilities

• Identifying products to be assessed in the software review process.
• Defining the appropriate test to be carried out including the test data to be used.
• Managing the test data by documenting the results of each test cycle to identify flaws.

• Interacting with and coordinating the development and validation team and ensuring that effective communication takes place.

Due to the nature of our work, candidates must meet the eligibility requirements for Security Check (SC) clearance, including the relevant UK residency requirements. Successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain the appropriate level of security clearance throughout their employment.
