Profile
  • You have a Master’s degree from an Engineering University (Aeronautical/Space Engineering, Computer Science, …) and significant experience in your field.
  • You are a recognised team player who enjoys collaborative work (co‑engineering).
  • You are an effective communicator, especially in conflict situations.
  • You act as a mentor willing to share knowledge.
  • You are analytical, resourceful and structured.
  • You possess strong problem‑solving capabilities.
  • You are convincing and persuasive.

  • Deep understanding of Software Engineering processes, methods and tools.
  • Experience using Software Engineering workbenches in an operational context.
  • A good technical culture, especially in software development.
  • Experience with scheduling and planning.

LIFE AS A THALES SOFTWARE PROCESSES, METHODS AND TOOLS SUPPORT ROLE
  • Provide Software engineers and project managers with advice on the engineering environment and configure workbenches for Software projects.
  • Act as a mentor to encourage apprenticeship, continuous improvement and feedback culture.
  • Set up an environment where trust and transparency are key pillars.
  • Co‑create and follow team performance and quality KPIs.
  • Train engineers on software‑tooled processes, practices and methods.
  • Contribute to the capitalisation and continuous improvement of best practices and service offers (training sessions, guidelines, user manuals).
  • Participate in knowledge sharing such as webinars or writing articles for engineering communities.

This role will require SC Clearance. It would be advantageous if currently held; otherwise, the successful applicant must undergo, achieve, and maintain SC Clearance.
