Job summary

A leading technology company in the UK is searching for a Software Development Team Lead to support an Aerospace/Defence client on a permanent basis. This role offers a salary of up to £100,000 plus benefits and allows hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days per week onsite in Farnham, Surrey. Ideal candidates will have significant experience in embedded software development, leadership in software engineering, and a proven ability to lead teams globally. SC Clearance eligibility is required.

Skills

Embedded software development (C++)

Understanding of SW development methodologies (Agile, TDD, CI/CD)

Manual and automated testing tools

Experience with software on robotics

Experience with video processing and encoding frameworks

Previous experience within UAVs/Aerospace/Large scale defence projects

Proven experience in SW development leadership and QA

Proven track record of scoping, setting requirements and milestones

Process improvement and workflows

Proven experience scaling teams whilst maintaining quality

Previous experience leading global teams
