Zusammenfassung

Abridge is seeking Software Engineering Interns for a 3-month program with Fall 2026, Spring 2027, or Summer 2027 start dates, offering potential extension. You will join our Engineering team to build features that translate cutting-edge language model capabilities into dependable clinical systems.

Under mentorship, you will design, code, and release AI-powered software that enhances clinicians' workflows, focusing on retrieval pipelines, structured tool use, and prompts for LLMs.

• Experience with AI tooling to write, debug, and learn faster; know when to trust vs verify.

Aufgaben

• Design and build end-to-end features, enhancing existing systems and contributing to agentic LLM workflows (retrieval pipelines, structured tool use, chained LLM calls).
• Fix user-facing bugs and issues, and improve quality of backend and frontend systems.
• Get hands-on with evaluation frameworks for accuracy, robustness, and clinical reliability.
• Prototype with new models, prompting techniques, and open-source orchestration tools (LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.).
• Collaborate across cross-functional product teams to ship features to customers.
