Job summary

36Labs in London is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to contribute to real, in-production systems. This internship is designed to become a full-time role, with AI driving much of what we ship and a focus on judgment and taste as core skills.

You'll ship features end-to-end, collaborate across video and language model systems, and build scalable LLM workflows, prompts, context engineering, evals, and agents, in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• Solid fundamentals in Python and/or TypeScript with projects you built or worked on in your own time.
• Genuinely excited about AI and building with LLMs, and quick to pick up new tools.
• Proficiency with AI coding tools and experimenting with different tools and paradigms to maximize model performance.
• Hungry and resourceful, whether you're studying, recently graduated, or self-taught.

36 Labs is an early stage startup using AI and machine learning to optimise the world of social media marketing. We build with video and language models: how content is conceived, generated, distributed, and optimised.

We're looking for a Software Engineering Intern to build alongside us on real, in-production systems. This is an internship designed to become a full-time role. AI writes a lot of what we ship, so the bottleneck isn't typing, it's judgment and taste, and we'll help you build both fast.

What you'll be doing

• Shipping real features into production, with an engineer close by to help you level up
• Working across the systems that turn video and language models into content, end to end
• Building and improving LLM workflows: prompting, context engineering, evals, and agents

What we're looking for
