Job summary

Jobtailor in the United Kingdom is looking for a software engineer to design and develop software from system requirements, contributing to distributed ATM systems while ensuring traceability across the full software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Telecommunications, Mathematics, Physics, or similar).
• 2+ years of experience in software development.
• High level of English (written and spoken).
• Spanish speaker (desirable).
• Strong experience in C, C++ and/or ADA.
• Experience with Python scripting is a plus.
• Experience working in Linux environments.
• Familiarity with version control (Git or ClearCase), issue tracking (JIRA), requirements management (DOORS).
• Understanding of end‑to‑end software lifecycle (design, coding, testing, integration).
• Experience or strong interest in using AI‑powered development tools.
