Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is offering a 12-month Technology Graduate Program for entry-level software engineers in Greater London. You will rotate through two six-month assignments, gaining hands-on experience in big data, AI, SRE, DevOps, and security engineering, with exposure to AWS and Azure.

Mentorship, performance feedback, and extensive training accompany the program to develop technical and personal skills, with opportunities in insurance, healthcare, and government domains.

Qualifications

• Graduation date by August 2027 is required.
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Java/J2EE, Python, JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, Linux and .Net.
• Familiar with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Knowledge of data manipulation languages and data modeling principles.
• Willingness to learn new processes and technologies.
• Experience with test-driven development.

Responsibilities

• Write and review specifications for developing system components of simple complexity.
• Implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews under senior engineers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across development environments.
• Complete simple bug fixes and apply test-driven development.
• Gather and analyze requirements for software projects.
• Resolve basic technical issues and stay updated on new technologies.
• Demonstrate knowledge of software development methodologies and data manipulation languages.
• Understand data modeling principles and applicable development languages.
