Attis is building the real-time backend platform for critical infrastructure and logistics. You will craft stateful microservices and event-driven ingestion pipelines in Python and PostgreSQL, while shaping multi-tenant architecture for onboarding new sites and customers at scale.

You will ensure sub-second latency, fault-tolerant execution, and zero-downtime deployments, interfacing with legacy feeds and third-party streams, and defining TypeScript API contracts for frontend consumption on AWS.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of production backend software engineering experience using Python.
• Strong relational database modeling expertise in PostgreSQL, covering concurrency, locks, and idempotency.
• Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures, state machines, and AWS cloud environments.
• London-based location with full eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.

• Solve hard distributed system challenges: exactly-once effects, concurrent write resolution, and multi-tenancy.
• Founding-level impact: shape backend engineering standards, observability, staging validation, and technical hiring.
• Direct field exposure: spend time on site observing how live operations interact with your code.
