Brand new role due to expansion - We are looking for a mid to senior software engineer who enjoys working on systems that actually keep a business moving. Orders, payments, stock, warehouses the kind of software that needs to work first time, every time.

The team is looking for a strong PHP Developer with SQL ideally operating between mid and senior level. Someone who's comfortable working independently, making sensible technical decisions, and taking ownership without needing everything perfectly defined up front. It's a pragmatic environment, not a theoretical one.

Responsibilities

• A lot of the work sits in established PHP and SQL systems that support e-commerce and fulfilment operations. The codebases are large, sometimes messy, and undeniably important. The expectation isn't to rewrite everything it's to understand what's there, improve it incrementally, and deliver changes safely into production.
• Day to day, this engineer will investigate problems, spot practical solutions, and work closely with operational and commercial teams to balance technical ideals with real-world constraints.
• Clear communication matters, especially when explaining trade-offs or managing expectations.
