Job summary

Confidential in Dorset is seeking a skilled software developer to join a small, engineering-led team. You will design scalable web apps using .NET and React, build RESTful APIs and integrate with Azure cloud services.

Youll collaborate with stakeholders directly, own tasks, and contribute to product improvements in a hybrid office setting in Dorset, with competitive salary and benefits including on-site parking, gym membership and employee discounts.

• Commercial experience with C# / .NET (Core or later).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable web applications using .NET and React.

• Develop features across vehicle, parts, transport, recycling and waste management systems.
• Investigate technical and operational problems and propose practical solutions.
• Work directly with stakeholders and end users to understand requirements.
• Improve the performance, reliability and usability of existing systems.
• Integrate with third-party systems, APIs and automotive data providers.
• Work with large and sometimes complex operational datasets.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain development standards.
• Assist with deployment, monitoring and troubleshooting within Azure infrastructure.
• Use modern development tools, including AI-assisted development where appropriate.
• Contribute ideas for new features, architecture and product improvements.
