Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java with additional experience in Python or other languages is essential.
• Strong knowledge of unit testing frameworks is required.
• Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodology and mentoring junior engineers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out software development activities.
• Design and run tests to debug software.
• Translate customer requirements into applications.

Skills

Proficiency in Java

Development experience on Linux

Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (e.g. JUnit 5)

Skilled with Git version control

Experience with Agile/SCRUM

Database experience (Oracle, relational, and/or MongoDB)

CI/CD pipelines (GitLab)

Familiarity with Apache NiFi, Hibernate, Elasticsearch, and Kibana

Front-end experience with JavaScript/TypeScript & React

Proficiency with Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)

Experience mentoring junior engineers
