MRJ Recruitment Limited is seeking an SDET to champion automated quality in a fast-growing UK SaaS environment based in Manchester. You will own end-to-end UI automation with Playwright, pair with engineers to embed quality, and help drive CI/CD improvements and testing practices.

The role emphasizes collaboration, continuous improvement, and the use of AI tools like Claude to accelerate test creation and debugging.

Qualificações

• Must have a developer/engineer background.
• Proven experience as an SDET or in a software engineering role with strong test automation ownership.
• Strong hands-on Playwright experience (end-to-end UI automation).
• Comfortable pairing with engineers and working in a highly collaborative environment.
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude (or similar) to improve productivity and quality.

• Champion best practices in test automation, maintainability, and continuous improvement.
