Darktrace in Cambridge is seeking Software Engineers in Test who are passionate about quality and scalable test solutions. You will sit at the heart of engineering, building frameworks and collaborating with developers to ensure quality from the start.

The role involves designing automated test suites across API/UI, integrating with CI/CD, and contributing to test strategy, performance, and security testing.

Qualifications

• Strong automation experience with modern frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Rust.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
• Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman or RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes or other containerised environments.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Collaborative, team-first mindset with a passion for quality.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will sit at the heart of engineering—partnering with developers and product teams to ensure quality is embedded from the very start. This isn’t traditional QA.
