Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Software Engineer III to join the FX Services Technology team in London. You will design and deliver secure, scalable technology solutions and collaborate with agile teams to build trusted products supporting business objectives.

You will contribute across multiple technical areas, improve software practices, and impact the Macro eTrading group with innovative solutions and inclusive teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Proficient in front-end frameworks such as React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience building high-performance desktop or web applications.
• Experience with test-driven development, modern source control, and continuous integration.
• Understanding of the full software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Passion for interactive design and clear understanding of UX methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting to solve complex problems.
• Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that integrate with critical systems.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring alignment with design constraints.
• Gather, analyze, and synthesize data to develop visualizations and reporting for continuous improvement.
• Identify hidden problems and patterns in data to drive enhancements in coding practices and system architecture.
• Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and explore emerging technologies.
