Senior Frontend Software Engineer

Leeds - 2x a week

Salary: Up to £70k DOE.

Fruition IT are working with a well‑established private equity tech‑first business who are embarking on a complete technical transformation. This client is looking to bring in a team of Software Engineers to work on a bespoke software platform as part of the business growth.

The Frontend Software Engineer will be responsible for working in a creative environment to build the Front End platform to industry standards. You will be working with Scripting languages such as JavaScript and TypeScript, spun up into an AWS platform. You'll be working alongside a very strong managerial team with great pedigree and have the opportunity to lead on architectural decisions while mentoring junior developers from a technical standpoint.

What will I be doing?

• Developing web applications and systems using JavaScript, React and TypeScript.
• Define and analyse business requirements.
• Support continuous improvement and integrations to enhance deployment.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and tested to develop unit code.
• Working in an AWS environment.

Key requirements:

• JavaScript development, for at least 5 years.
• Experience with TypeScript and React.
• Experience with NodeJS.
• Experienced in application architecture principles.
• Ability to structure applications in a solid saleable and maintainable manor.
• Understanding of terraform as infrastructure as code.
• Working with REST and GraphQL.
• Agile ways of working (Scrum/Kanban).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
