Job summary

Candescence is a forward-thinking technology company transforming financial services with API-first architecture and cloud-based innovation. The role focuses on designing and developing Java-based full-stack solutions, microservices, and RESTful services to support intelligent banking experiences.

You will work in an Agile team, applying TDD/BDD, integrating HTML5/JS/CSS/Angular front-ends, and using CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, and Docker.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• A minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in software design and development.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in preferred technology stack.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
• A minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in software design and development
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in preferred technology stack

AI & Modern Engineering Skillsets Beneficial

• Hands‑on experience using AI coding assistants such as:
  • Cursor or equivalent AI‑first IDEs

• Experience applying Generative AI for:
  • Code generation and refactoring
  • Test generation and coverage improvement
  • Documentation and API contract generation
• Strong understanding of responsible AI usage, including code correctness, security, data privacy, and licensing considerations.
• Ability to critically review and validate AI‑generated code outputs.
