Job summary

Client Server in the United Kingdom is seeking a mid-level Software Engineer to join a technology-driven trading company focused on sports betting markets. The role involves designing and developing features in a microservices environment (300 services) using a modern stack.

You will work with C# .Net Core, AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis, and TypeScript/Angular in an Agile team, with a hybrid work model offering two days at home per week and parking near St Albans.

Qualifications

• You have strong C# .Net Core backend development skills.
• You have experience with AWS and microservices.
• You have a thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Design Patterns, Data Structures, Algorithms
• You enjoy collaborating, learning new things and sharing knowledge.
• You are degree educated in Computer Science or closely related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Join an Agile development team to design and develop new features and enhancements to payments and client systems within a microservices environment (300 services).
• Work with a modern tech stack using C# .Net Core, AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis and TypeScript / Angular; using the right tool for the job, you’ll be able to pick up new technologies and make recommendations for improvements.
