As a Front-End Developer, you will play a key role in building scalable, accessible and intuitive digital services that make a tangible difference for citizens and justice professionals. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will influence solution design, build high-quality interfaces and support an iterative rollout that drives lasting value. Security Clearance

Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This is a hybrid position.

Responsibilities
  • Develop high-quality front‑end components for a major UK Government transformation programme, working within an agile team progressing the solution from Discovery outputs into live delivery.
  • intuitive, accessible interfaces aligned to the Government Design System (DDS) and contribute directly to user-centred design, technical development and iterative releases.
  • Collaborate daily with designers, architects, developers and testers, shaping technical decisions and ensuring the front end supports a robust, scalable and maintainable solution.
  • Share ideas, refine approaches and contribute to a strong engineering culture that values ownership, creativity and collaboration.
  • Build scalable Angular applications that align with GDS standards.
  • Work closely with UX, service design and back‑end engineering teams.
  • Support component testing, accessibility checks and quality assurance activities.
  • Contribute ideas that enhance usability, performance and maintainability.
  • Participate in team ceremonies and help drive engineering best practice.
