Job summary

BLP Digital AG is expanding its Integrations team and seeks an Integrations Engineer to connect ERP systems with blp's platform. You will design interfaces, handle REST, SOAP, and DB access, and map EDI/invoice formats. German language is a requirement due to our DACH client base.

The role is hybrid, with options for onsite Zürich or remote work from Europe; collaboration with Project Team and customers is essential for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related field.
• At least 3 years in a technical role, ideally related to integrations/ERP.
• English fluency; German language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to enableERP integration across systems.
• Develop and enhance standard APIs using Go and Java; perform tasks.
• Design interfaces for REST, SOAP, direct DB access and file transfers.
• Map incoming EDI and e-invoice formats to internal standards.

• Own and resolve existing customer integrations end-to-end.

Location: This is a full-time position and can either be filled on-site at our office in central Zurich, Switzerland or remotely from Europe - This is a hybrid role (3-4 days in the office, 1-2 days working from home).

About the role

As Integrations Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enabling our customers to connect their ERP systems with blp's platform. This involves designing and implementing interfaces, handling a variety of protocols such as REST, SOAP, and direct database access, and managing file transfers. Additionally, you will map incoming EDI and e-invoice formats to align with our standards. Working closely with our Project Team and client stakeholders, your role will be essential to the technical integration of new clients, contributing directly to our business growth. Proficiency in German is a requirement, as the majority of our customers are based in the DACH region.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enable seamless ERP integration.
• Work on our standard APIs using Go and Java, including further development and task execution.
• Design and implement interfaces for diverse protocols (REST, SOAP, direct DB access, file transfers).
• Translate and map incoming EDI and e-invoice formats to our standards.
• Explore new ERP systems and determine optimal communication methods.
• Document new interfaces and features clearly enough that teammates can pick them up without you in the room.
• Own existing customer integrations end-to-end, from first issue report to resolution.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3 years of experience in a technical role, ideally linked to integrations and/or ERP systems
• Proficiency in English, on top proficiency in German is preferred.
• Experience with Go, Java, REST/SOAP, and SQL.
• Ideally, professional experience in a client-facing role.
• Structured and self-reliant working approach.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
