Job summary

Unknown company seeks a Software Engineer, Backend with Java and IAM expertise to join the Identity Management Services team. This contract runs until end of December 2026 and is renewable.

Location: Essex-based offices between Brentwood and Basildon, four days a week on-site, GBP 600 per day Inside IR35. You will work on core platform work powering identity infrastructure, focusing on security, resilience and integration with IAM.

The banking and finance arm of one of the world's leading manufacturing companies and a household name is seeking a software engineer, software developer with Backend, Back End and Identity Access Management (IAM) expertise.

The Backend Software Engineer will join the Identity Management Services team, (IAM) focusing on the core platform work that powers identity infrastructure.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the platform is secure and resilient

Essential Skill and Experience:

• # 8+ years working with backend technologies including Java, Java Frameworks
• # Web development – DevOps practices (CI/CD, version control)
