Job summary

Fionics, a crypto-native prop firm in London, is hiring two to four engineers for its core team. Six people currently run one of the largest DeFi trading operations in the world, so the leverage per person is unusual.

This role is an on-site, London-based opportunity with an individual contributor path and clear routes to trader and dev hybrid roles. Language options include C++, Java, C#, and Rust; Python is not used.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of engineering experience.
• Currently at a tier-1 crypto market maker, crypto prop, or systematic shop.
• Shipping to production and tackling technically interesting problems.
• Strong track record through education or work.
• Languages: C++, Java, C#, Rust; Python excluded.
• Non-compete of 6 months or less.
