Job summary

CFC is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Technology team in London. You will design, build and support applications using Angular and .NET/.NET Core, and contribute to cloud-native services in Microsoft Azure.

You’ll work across the full lifecycle, collaborating with product owners and engineers to deliver high-quality software that drives business value. You’ll participate in agile practices, contribute to code reviews, and help improve testing, automation and security across the

Qualifications

• Experience delivering software in an agile environment.
• Strong knowledge of .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET and modern web app development.
• Experience with Angular or similar front-end frameworks.
• Experience in cloud environments, ideally Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of SQL Server, T-SQL and data-driven development.
• Understanding of software design principles and modern engineering practices.
• Experience with testing, automation and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with Entity Framework and TDD.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain applications using Angular and .NET/.NET Core.
• Build and enhance cloud-native services within Microsoft Azure.
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle from discovery to deployment.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, engineers and tech leads to deliver solutions.
• Investigate and resolve production issues to ensure platform stability.
• Participate in agile delivery practices including refinement and sprints.
• Contribute to code reviews, pair programming and engineering best practices.
• Support scalable, secure solutions through testing and automation.
• Contribute to solution design discussions and continuous improvement.
• Utilise AI-assisted development tools responsibly while maintaining quality and security.
