Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is hiring a Software Engineer (C/C++) in Stevenage to own backend development within a fast-paced R&D team focused on network emulation technology.

You will design, develop and maintain high-performance systems in Linux using GNU tools, contribute to architecture decisions, mentor junior engineers and deliver features on schedule in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. Hybrid working with 2 days in the office.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with C/C++ development and object-oriented design.
• Background in Linux environments using GNU tools (gcc, gdb).
• Experience with network and multithreaded programming.
• Proven ability to mentor or support other engineers.
