Job summary

Goldman Sachs in London (Greater London) is seeking a backend engineer to join our embedded engineering teams. You will develop and maintain microservices in Java and Spring, ensuring scalable, high-performance systems that support trading, analytics and data processing.

You will collaborate with global partners, data engineers, and cloud engineers to deliver reliable platforms, implement best practices, and contribute to the SDLC with robust testing, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience with Java and Spring.
• Experience with non-SQL databases (MongoDB) and microservices.
