Job summary

Qureight, with offices in Cambridge and London, is seeking a Software Engineer to scale the platform used in clinical trials. You will work on a Python backend, REST APIs, and React frontends, deployed on AWS EKS and Terraform-managed infrastructure.

You will develop, test, and maintain software across the full SDLC, collaborate in an agile team, and contribute to robust, production-grade systems used to accelerate clinical research.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and Django
• Experience building, documenting, and testing REST APIs
• Experience with CI/CD processes (GitLab preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in an agile team environment
• Experience with AWS cloud services and containerised environments (Docker/Kubernetes)

About The Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to support the scaling of our platform that clinical trials already depend on. We build the vital infrastructure that orchestrates complex workflows across an ever-growing number of global sites and studies. When hospital sites upload CT scans, our platform ensures the imaging securely reaches sponsors, independent reviewer panels, or our core machine learning analysis pipelines. Built on a modern tech stack featuring a Python backend, REST APIs, and React frontends, all running on AWS EKS and deployed via Terraform, what we build matters every single day to advance critical clinical research and change lives.

What You Will Do

• Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify requirements and solutions

• Have experience using Terraform

• Have some experience with Javascript, Typescript and React
• Have familiarity with SQL and good schema design
• Have experience working with containerised environments (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Have experience working in a regulated environment
