Skills

Proven Android development in a production context (Kotlin)

Understanding how to deal with different screen sizes

Familiarity with RESTful APIs

Experience with offline storage, threading and performance tuning

Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem

Confident working with version control systems (Git)

Strong appreciation of OO Design Patterns

Understanding of Google’s Android design principles

Experience with continuous integration

Experience working within an Agile environment

About the Role

About You

• Proven Android development in a production context (Kotlin)
• Understanding how to deal with different screen sizes
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Experience with offline storage, threading and performance tuning
• Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
• Confident working with version control systems (Git)
• Strong appreciation of OO Design Patterns, Unit Testing and TDD practices
• Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines
• Experience with continuous integration
• Experience working within an Agile environment
• Azure cloud knowledge
