Job summary

Renaissance Learning, Inc. is seeking a software engineer to build and maintain features across the full stack, including Azure, .NET APIs, and an Angular frontend. You’ll contribute to architectural decisions and write clean, tested code while aligning with engineering best practices.

You will collaborate with product, design, and QA teams to deliver value to teachers and students, explore AI tooling, and help shape our adoption of agentic workflows in a hybrid office setting in the UK.

Qualifications

• Some professional software development experience.
• Full-stack experience with C#/.NET, TypeScript/JavaScript, and SQL.
• Experience with modern web frameworks (Angular, React, or similar).
• Understanding of system design, REST APIs, databases, and Azure.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain features across the full stack (Azure, .NET APIs, Angular frontend, SQL databases).
• Make or contribute to architectural and technical decisions within your domain.
• Write clean, tested, maintainable code that solves real problems.
• Participate in and improve engineering practices (code review, testing strategies, CI/CD pipelines).
• Experiment with AI tools to help build towards agentic workflows.
• Collaborate with product, design, QA, and other teams to deliver value for teachers and students.
• Break down ambiguous problems and drive ideas to completion.
