Job summary

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a remote contract role. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable software and backend systems, and build RESTful APIs across distributed architectures.

Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps to deliver secure, cloud-native solutions and contribute to architectural decisions. Deploy applications on AWS, GCP, and Azure, with strong emphasis on CI/CD and monitoring.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in one or more modern programming languages.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, and/or Azure.
• Knowledge of modern DevOps practices including CI/CD, containerization, and automation.
• Experience with NLP, LLM, and AI-powered or data-driven systems.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React; frontend experience is a plus.
