Job summary

Yoh, A Day & Zimmermann Company is seeking a Software Engineer with commercial Rust experience to join a specialist organisation developing safety-critical systems. The role focuses on high-integrity software across requirements, development, integration and verification activities.

The candidate should have around 5 years of software engineering experience, exposure to safety-critical or highly regulated environments, and knowledge of relevant safety standards.

This role is for someone who'd rather build confidence.

A specialist engineering organisation developing safety-critical systems is looking for a Software Engineer with commercial Rust experience to join a team working on complex, high-integrity software.

The environment is structured, technical and engineering-led. The software is expected to work first time, every time. That means rigorous development processes, clear requirements, thorough testing and an appreciation for why quality matters.

You'll be involved throughout the software lifecycle, contributing to requirements, development, integration and verification activities alongside other software, systems and test engineers.

The role would suit someone who has experience working within defence, aerospace, transport, rail or automotive environments, where software is developed against recognised safety and engineering standards.
