Job summary

WHD Consulting Ltd. in Weybridge is seeking a Graduate Software Engineer with strong C/C++ skills to join a hybrid team. You will develop and test embedded client code, design interfaces, and contribute to Agile user stories and CI/CD processes.

The role requires a BSc in a related field, excellent problem-solving ability, and teamwork. You will work 1 day onsite and 4 days from home, delivering robust software and supporting live deployments.

Qualifications

Graduate Software Engineer (C/C++) - Weybridge / Hybrid - Permanent

I am recruiting a Graduate Software Engineer for a client of ours in the Weybridge area. The company works the hybrid model - with 1 day onsite, 4 days home working. A solid background in C++ is required – exceptional graduates will be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Development and test of C++ client code in a multitasking embedded environment
• Design software to meet customer and internal requirements, defining interfaces to other systems
• Delivery of user stories and epics, contributing to features, using agile planning and tracking techniques
• Implement automated tests that run CI/CD pipeline
• Continually contribute to improve the products and solutions efficacy, performance and stability
• Use of data, logging and metrics in kibana and grafana to measure quality, identify trends and isolate problems
• Troubleshoot incidents on live customer deployments and supporting customers
