Job summary

Lumin Wealth Limited is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to join as the fourth member of our data-driven team. You’ll own the delivery of critical web applications that directly improve adviser productivity, client experience and operational efficiency.

You’ll build greenfield apps using a modern TypeScript stack, deploy on AWS, and work with cross-functional stakeholders to shape our technology direction. Hybrid work available in St Albans.

Qualifications

• 3+ years commercial experience building production web applications with TypeScript and React
• Solid SQL skills and relational databases experience
• Autonomous, capable of owning problems end-to-end with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy full-stack web applications using React, TypeScript and Node.js
• Own multiple projects from requirements through production deployment
• Develop robust APIs integrated with internal and third-party systems
• Deploy containerised applications on AWS EKS with CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with advisers and operations teams to translate needs into software solutions

Our small but mighty data team of 3 has built acutting-edgeplatform on AWS, delivering everything from real-time dashboards to internal web applications. We believe in shipping fast, learning quickly, and building tools that advisers and clientsactually loveto use.

The Opportunity

We’relooking for a Full-Stack Engineer to join as our 4th team member and own the delivery of critical web applications. This is a hands-on role whereyou’llbuild tools that directlyimpactadviser productivity, operational efficiency, and client experience.You’llwork on everything from internal trading tools to client presentation platforms, with full ownership from concept to production.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build and deploy full-stack web applications using React, TypeScript and Node.js
• Own multiple projects simultaneously, frominitialrequirements through to production deployment
• Work directly with advisers and operations teams to understand needs and deliver solutions
• Build responsive, intuitive frontends that non-technical users love
• Develop robust APIs and backend services, integrated with internal and third-party systems
• Deploycontainerisedapplications on AWS EKS with robust CI/CD pipelines
• Balance “perfect” with “shipped”, knowing when good enough is exactly right
• Contribute to technical decisions as we scale
• 3+ years commercial experience building production web applications with TypeScript and React
• Solid SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
• Experience translating ambiguous business requirements into working software
• Track recordof delivering projects on aggressive timelines
• Genuinely autonomous: comfortable owning problems end-to-end with minimal supervision
• A strong teamplayer who collaborates well and supports colleagues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Financial services or wealth management background
• Hands-on experience with our core stack (see below)
• Exposure to AWS, Docker, Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
