Job summary

LSEG is seeking a Software Engineer for its Rights Management Engineering team in the UK. You will design and build secure, scalable solutions that meet customer needs, with emphasis on evolving technologies, automation, observability, and cost efficiency.

You will collaborate within a product-led squad to deliver value. You’ll work on cloud-enabled applications, adopting DevOps practices and contributing to CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Software Engineering experience using C#/.NET stack.
  • Experience designing secure, scalable Azure-based solutions.
  • Experience with UI development in React/Angular and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Adopt AI tooling and approach to development.
  • Work in an agile squad to deliver outcomes.
  • Design optimized solutions conforming to evolving standards.
  • Code secure, efficient, and effective software.
  • Build solutions using Microsoft Azure capabilities.

Role Summary

The Rights Management Engineering team is seeking a Software Engineer who shares our principles. You will design and build secure and scalable solutions which meet our customers’ needs. You know that applications are not static and must evolve over time as technology and standards change. You are not afraid to explore – writing code, building CI/CD pipelines, maximizing automation, observability and supportability whilst making sure solutions are cost effective. You will collaborate as part of a product-led team.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Adopting AI tooling and approach to development
  • Working in an agile squad
  • Designing optimized solutions for product requirements which conform to evolving enterprise standards
  • Coding secure, efficient, and effective solutions
  • Designing and building solutions using Microsoft Azure capabilities
  • Adopting DevOps principles to code, build & implement
  • Providing support for applications in line with agreed product SLAs - including some on-call
  • Working with Product Owners to understand and refine requirements
  • Providing accurate estimations for delivery
What You’ll Bring
  • 2+ years of Software Engineering experience using
  • C# .NET (classic, asp, core) ideally using Entity Framework
  • Databases - Relational and NoSQL
  • UI development using React, Angular or similar
  • CI/CD processes using Gitlab
  • Terraform IaC
  • Desirable: Some experience in one or more of
  • Atlassian’s tooling stack including JIRA & Confluence
  • DataDog, BigPanda, Service Now
  • Demonstrable experience of building applications in Public Cloud - ideally Microsoft Azure
  • Ability to design and explain solutions
  • Motivation, self-starting and a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills
  • An enthusiasm to learn new technology and approaches
  • Cloud certification or preparedness to undertake it
