Job summary

Experian Information Solutions, Inc. in the UK Nottingham region seeks a software engineer focused on .NET to help build cloud-native microservices and web apps using .NET 8+. You will work in a high-performance team, deploying on Kubernetes (EKS) and AWS services to deliver scalable solutions.

Hybrid work: 2 days per week in the Nottingham office, with a generous compensation package and discretionary bonus, plus pension, healthcare, and a sharesave scheme.

Qualifications

• Experience building scalable REST/SOAP/RPC APIs with ASP.NET and C#, .NET 6+.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies and Kubernetes.

Job description

We're predominantly a .NET focused engineering team, building modern, cloud-native applications using the latest in .NET 8+. All new services are developed with a forward-looking mindset, and we actively evaluate emerging features and tools to continuously improve our engineering practices. Our architecture is built on Kubernetes (EKS), enabling us to run scalable, resilient microservices in the cloud. On top of this, we leverage a wide range of AWS services (Lambda, Kinesis, Dynamo and RDS to name just a few), to enhance performance, observability, and integration across our platform. You will be part of a high-performance engineering team that delivers the product backlog of Ascend Cloud Foundation Platform. You will work closely with other Software Engineers to both maintain existing systems and build our cloud-native microservices and web applications using the latest technologies and architectural patterns.

• Hands-on experience with .NET 6+ or .NET Core or .NET Framework building scalable, maintainable and performant REST/SOAP/RPC APIs with microservice or SOA architectures using ASP.NET with proficiency in C#.
• Recent Cloud Native Technology Experiance This is an incredibly exciting time for the Experian UKI Region, as we look to build our presence in the UK and Hyderabad and work on a technology transformation to meet our aspiration to significantly scale our business over the next five years.
