Peregrine seeks a Software Engineer in New Malden to support the development and enhancement of complex software in a highly regulated engineering environment.

You will design, develop and maintain C#/.NET desktop applications (Windows Forms), collaborate with Systems and Test Engineers, and contribute to continuous improvement, documentation, and Agile delivery practices.

This permanent role offers stability, with on-site or remote engagement and access to Peregrine's Specialist Talent network.

Qualificações

• Commercial experience developing applications using C# and .NET.
• Experience developing desktop applications using Windows Forms.
• Understanding of TCP/IP and UDP networking protocols.
• Experience working within structured software development environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with source control and software configuration management.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Responsabilidades

The Role:

We are seeking a Software Engineer to support the development and enhancement of complex software applications used within a highly regulated engineering environment.

In this role, you will design, develop and maintain software solutions, working closely with Systems Engineers, Test Engineers and Project Teams to deliver high-quality products. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving challenging technical problems and contributing to innovative, real-world solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain software applications using C# and .NET technologies.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements through to release.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver new functionality and product enhancements.

• Experience within aerospace, defence, transport, industrial automation or other regulated industries.
• Familiarity with automated testing practices.

Success in this role means consistently delivering robust, maintainable software solutions that meet both customer and business requirements. You will contribute positively to sprint objectives and project milestones, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales. A strong focus on software quality, documentation and continuous improvement will be key, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support the successful delivery of innovative technology solutions.
