AAA Global is seeking a hands-on Technical Lead to drive the development of mission-critical trading systems across its global trading platform. This player-coach role combines production coding with technical leadership of a small engineering team.

Approximately 70% of time is hands-on coding in C++ with 30% focused on architecture, mentoring, and setting engineering standards. You will collaborate with traders and researchers to evolve the platform.

Overview

A leading quantitative trading firm (HFT) is seeking a hands-on Technical Lead to drive the development of mission-critical trading systems across its global trading platform.

This is a player-coach role for an experienced engineer who enjoys remaining deeply involved in production development while leading and mentoring a small engineering team. Approximately 70% of the role will focus on hands-on engineering, with the remaining 30% covering technical leadership and people management.

• Demonstrated ability to deliver complex systems into production.
• Comfortable working closely with trading and quantitative research teams.
• Strong communication, technical judgement and leadership skills.
