Software Engineer | Tech for Good | Up to £55,000 | Software Engineer | Software Engineer

Fully Remote (or 1 day a week in London if you're local)

I'm working with a profitable, founder-led Tech for Good company that's using technology to help millions of people access the financial support they're entitled to.

They're looking for a Software Engineer to join their LIFT product, a platform that helps local authorities identify vulnerable households and has already delivered billions of pounds in financial support to people across the UK.

This is an opportunity to join a business where your work has a direct social impact, whilst developing as a full-stack engineer alongside an experienced team.

The Opportunity

You'll work across the full software development lifecycle, building new features, improving existing services and contributing to engineering best practices as the team continues to scale.

This is a hands-on role where you'll gain exposure to frontend, backend, cloud infrastructure and modern software engineering practices, working alongside experienced engineers who enjoy mentoring and pairing.

Whether you prefer working remotely or enjoy spending time with the team in person, there's flexibility. Most engineers work fully remotely, while those based in London typically choose to spend one day a week in the office.
