Job summary

Fortice seeks an experienced Software Engineer with active MOD DV clearance to work on mission-critical National Security programmes in London. The role focuses on solving difficult problems across multiple languages and platforms, with exposure to AI/ML and cloud technologies.

You will be a generalist, owning tasks end-to-end, learning new technologies, and contributing to a greenfield AI programme. This is an on-site role requiring 4–5 days per week in the office and eligibility for enhanced

Fortice are working with a highly specialist engineering business in London that has built its reputation delivering complex, mission-critical technology directly into the National Security space.

Founded in 2020 by experienced technology leaders who wanted to build something different from traditional "bums-on-seats" consultancies and defence primes, the business has grown organically to around 20 engineers and is now entering an exciting period of growth.

They're looking for exceptional Software Engineers, particularly those who are curious, adaptable and enjoy solving difficult problems rather than simply working within a narrow technology speciality.
