Job summary

At CFC, a London-based tech team seeks a Software Engineer to design, build and support Angular and .NET/.NET Core applications on Microsoft Azure. You will contribute to a product-led, collaborative environment and help deliver scalable, secure software across the full SDLC.

You will work with Product Owners and engineers to implement high-quality solutions, improve performance, and drive best practices in testing, automation and CI/CD while embracing continuous learning and innovation.

Qualifications

  • Experience developing and supporting software solutions within an agile environment.
  • Strong knowledge of .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET and modern web development.
  • Experience with Angular or similar front-end frameworks.
  • Experience working in cloud environments, ideally Microsoft Azure.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server, T-SQL and data-driven development.
  • Understanding of testing frameworks, automation and CI/CD practices.
  • Familiarity with Entity Framework and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; effective communication.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain applications using Angular and .NET/.NET Core.
  • Build and enhance cloud-native services within Microsoft Azure.
  • Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from discovery and design through to deployment and support.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, engineers and technical leads to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Investigate and resolve production issues to ensure platform stability, performance and reliability.
  • Participate in agile delivery practices including refinement, sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Contribute to code reviews, pair programming and engineering best practices across the team.
  • Support the development of scalable, maintainable and secure solutions through strong testing and automation practices.
  • Contribute to solution design discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Utilise AI-assisted development tools responsibly while maintaining ownership of quality, security and technical outcomes.

We're seeking a Software Engineerto join our Engineering team. Working in a collaborative, product-led environment, you'll help design, build and support the applications and services that underpin CFC's technology platform.
