Job summary

Jobtailor is looking to welcome a graduate software engineer into an Agile team in Greater London. You will develop, test, and improve software across backend, frontend, cloud, and data domains, while collaborating with product managers and engineers to deliver value.

You will gain hands-on experience with AI-powered tools, secure development practices, and modern engineering workflows, with structured onboarding and mentorship throughout the program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/CE/SE or technical field, by start date
• Graduation between Dec 2026 and Jun 2027
• Experience via academics, internships, research, open-source, hackathons, or professional settings
• Exposure to backend, frontend, cloud, mobile, AI/ML, data, APIs, or full-stack development
• Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, React, TypeScript, Python, C#, Go, Kotlin, Node.js, REST APIs, SQL, Spring
• Exposure to cloud-native development, microservices, CI/CD, DevOps, testing, secure software
• Interest in AI-powered tools, generative AI, intelligent automation, responsible AI
• Strong communication, teamwork, and learning agility
• Familiarity with version control, testing, Agile methods
• Awareness of responsible AI practices

Requirements

• Must have earned a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or another technical field before the full-time start date
• Graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027
• Experience developing products or projects in an academic, personal, internship, research, open-source, hackathon, or professional setting
• Exposure to backend, frontend, cloud, mobile, AI/machine learning, data, API, or full-stack product development
• Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, React, TypeScript, Python, C#, Go, Kotlin, Node.js, REST APIs, SQL, Spring, or similar frameworks and tools
• Exposure to cloud-native development, microservices, containerization, CI/CD, DevOps, automated testing, accessibility, or secure software development concepts
• Interest in AI-powered development tools, generative AI, intelligent automation, responsible AI, or machine learning fundamentals
• Preferred: programming experience using languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, C#, Go, Kotlin, Node.js, or similar technologies
• Preferred: familiarity with AI-enabled applications, APIs, data pipelines, model inference endpoints, evaluation workflows, or cloud-based AI services
• Preferred: awareness of responsible AI practices
• Preferred: experience with version control, testing, code reviews, Agile methodologies, and collaborative development
