In this role, you will design and develop production-grade software that powersAI-driven drug discovery.This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who wants to be involved from day one of the start-up journey and who wants to put new processes into place to build a powerful platform in a high-performing and collaborative team, based in beautiful Victoria House in the heart of London.

You will:
  • Be part of the product team and collaborate withdesigners, engineers, and scientists to define and implementsolutions, andcontribute to decision-making.
  • Design, develop,maintain, and ship features todeepmirror.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Review code, provide feedback, and support research engineers to productionize code.
  • Highlyproficiencyin at leastTypeScriptand Python.
  • 4+ years ofsoftwaredevelopment experience.
  • Passionate aboutsoftwareengineering with a relentless thirst to improve.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design.
  • Experience building full-stack systems, including distributed services, APIs, cloud platforms (AWS or GCP), and both SQL and NoSQL databases, with a solid understanding of backend and frontendconcepts.
  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Nice to have
  • Knowledgeofcheminformatics,computationalchemistry, andmachine learning.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or personalsoftwareprojectsi.e.(e.g.,RDKit,ketcher,Mol*, Vinaor related tools)

Base salary:
  • £70k to £90k+.
