Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain web, desktop and cloud-based software applications.
  • Analyse business and technical requirements to produce effective software solutions.
  • Write clean, efficient, secure and well-documented source code.
  • Develop software using modern programming languages, frameworks and development tools.
  • Perform software testing, debugging and troubleshooting to resolve defects.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Develop and integrate APIs and third-party services.
  • Optimise application performance, scalability and reliability.
  • Maintain software documentation, technical specifications and release notes.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers and Project Managers throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives and backlog refinement.
  • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical support and maintenance for existing software applications.
  • Research emerging technologies and recommend improvements to software architecture and development processes.

We are looking for a Software Engineer who can work on our internal projects based on Cloud Technologies and also provide Consultancy services to our clients where required.

The purpose of the Software Engineer role is to develop, deploy and support internal applications as well as customers depending on the need. You will be working on cutting edge technologies using latest tools available in the market.
