Amazon Development Centre (London) Limited is seeking a Software Development Manager to lead the Rufus Agentic team, building scalable software systems and customer experiences powered by AI and large language models. You will work with product, program management, engineering and science leaders to shape strategic roadmaps and deliver high-impact, customer-focused solutions.

Qualifications

Experience managing a team of high-calibre Software Engineers delivering scalable systems.
Experience designing or architecting scalable, multi-tier web services.
Experience delivering products in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software lifecycle, including code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and live-site operations.
Experience partnering with product and program management teams.
Experience building products leveraging large language models, generative AI, or agentic AI systems.

Responsibilities

Lead the Rufus Agentic team, delivering scalable software systems powered by AI.
Collaborate with product, program management, design, and science teams in an agile environment to deliver optimal technical designs.
