Capital Group is seeking a Software Development Engineer III in London to design and implement distributed, cloud-native systems that impact billions in assets under management.

You will own services, work across teams, and apply modern engineering practices with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalable architectures. Remote options are not indicated; on-site role in London.

Competenze

• BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in at least one modern language: Java, Go, TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.
• Strong OO and functional design skills with common patterns.
• Solid understanding of web development: HTML, CSS, DOM, responsive design.
• Experience with low-latency SOA and cloud-native development.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in Agile teams.
• Experience delivering enterprise-grade software to production.
• Familiar with AI-assisted coding tools in the development lifecycle.
• Experience building data pipelines with Databricks, dbt and Airflow.

You will design and own services and launch critical features to impact over $3 trillion in assets under management.
