Airbus Operations Limited is seeking a software developer to build modern web applications and cloud services for engineers across Europe. You will collaborate in an agile team, design robust APIs with REST, gRPC and OpenAPI, and contribute to our CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a relevant software development role.
• Experience building modern web apps in TypeScript with React/Angular/Vue.
• Strong knowledge of Git version control.
• Experience with cloud platforms, AWS or Google Cloud.

As a developer in our Flight Physics team, you won’t just be writing code. You’ll be an integral part of a community that's shaping the future of aviation. You will work alongside senior developers and domain experts, solving real-world challenges for engineers across Europe, India, and Canada. In this role, you will help us build a better, more efficient engineering ecosystem.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM

• Build and refine web applications and cloud services that our engineers rely on every day.
• Collaborate with end-users, designers, and fellow developers in an agile team to solve complex problems and deliver valuable features.
• Create and maintain robust APIs (using REST, gRPC and OpenAPI) to connect our tools and share data across the organisation.
• Contribute to our modern development culture using tools like Git and our CI/CD pipelines to ship high-quality, reliable code.
• Learn and grow, supported by our expert community and a team that is invested in your development.

ABOUT YOU

• Proven experience in a relevant role.
• Experience building modern web applications in Typescript with a modern framework like React, Angular or Vue.
• Proficiency in an object-oriented language such as Java, and/ or Python.
• A good understanding of version control with Git.
• Cloud platforms, especially AWS and its serverless and compute services or Google Cloud.
