Qualifications

• 3–4+ years of professional JavaScript development experience.
• Strong React experience.
• Experience building back-end services with Node.js.
• Knowledge of web application security, including authentication, authorization, data protection and OWASP principles.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Remote Full–time

A growing cyber security consultancy is looking for a Software Developer to build and maintain web applications that help organisations protect their systems and data.

You'll work across the front end and back end, developing practical tools used in real–world cyber defence. You'll have the chance to take ownership of your work, contribute ideas and help improve how the team builds secure, reliable software.

What you'll be doing

• Building responsive front–end applications using React
• Developing server–side applications and RESTful APIs with Node.js
• Writing clear, efficient and well–documented JavaScript
• Applying secure development practices to protect applications and user data
• Identifying and helping to resolve security vulnerabilities
• Working with designers, product managers and other developers to deliver features
• Taking part in code reviews and sharing constructive feedback
• Troubleshooting issues across the stack

What we're looking for
