Job summary

MJ Quinn Integrated Services Limited is seeking a software developer to join the Technology Services Department in Knowsley, UK. You will design, develop, and maintain applications on the Microsoft stack, including C#, .NET, React, Dynamics 365, and Power Platform, with Azure hosting and RESTful APIs.

You will work across the full software development lifecycle, collaborate with stakeholders, and help deliver scalable solutions while upholding quality and security standards in a fast-paced,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in software development using C# and .NET.
• Experience with, or willingness to learn, Dynamics 365 and/or the Power Platform.
• Experience developing modern front-end applications using React.
• Strong understanding of RESTful Web API design and development.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure services (App Services, Functions).
• Experience integrating with third‑party systems and external APIs.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience working across the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design and code clean, efficient and testable web-based applications and services.
• Take ownership of projects from project kick-off through to deployment and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems across multiple projects.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to establish business needs and requirements.
• Manage requirements and development tasks using Agile and Jira.
• Transform requirements into technical designs that follow industry best practices.
• Participate in testing and code reviews to ensure technical accuracy and standards.
• Identify issues and communicate them to stakeholders, suggesting solutions.
• Participate in project meetings with stakeholders providing progress updates.
• Promote a positive and professional image of the department by adhering to policies and standards.
• Work as part of a larger team to develop working practices and procedures.
• Provide technical, application and systems support to IT support teams.
