Job summary

Senior Software Developer (Mobile) in London (Hybrid) is sought to join a large-scale digital transformation programme. The role focuses on customer-facing mobile solutions that support critical public services and deliver real-world impact.

The position is a 6-month contract with Inside IR35. You will design, develop and maintain mobile apps, contribute to architecture, lead code reviews, and mentor developers within an agile, regulated environment.

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer (Mobile) to join a large-scale digital transformation programme within a highly regulated environment. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications.
• Contribute to software architecture and technical design decisions.
• Deliver full-stack development solutions in a complex enterprise environment.
• Conduct code reviews and champion software engineering best practices.
• Ensure applications are secure, scalable and performant.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Product Owners, Architects, Designers and Delivery Managers.
• Provide technical leadership, coaching and mentoring to developers.
• Support Agile delivery practices including sprint planning, stand-ups and retrospectives.

Required Experience

• Proven experience delivering Mobile Application Development projects.
• Strong background in Software Architecture & Design.
• Full Stack Development expertise.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Demonstrable experience with Code Reviews, Quality Assurance and development best practices.
• Strong technical leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience delivering solutions within large-scale, complex organisations.

Desirable Experience

• Experience working on digital platforms supporting healthcare, public sector, government, citizen services, regulated industries or other mission-critical environments.
• Experience developing applications with a strong focus on accessibility, security and user experience.
• Exposure to large-scale digital transformation programmes.
