Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires Associate degree or equivalent in IT or a related field.
• Minimum one year of IT, SAM, procurement, or related experience.
• Understanding of SAM principles and lifecycle processes.
• Experience with software inventory tools and asset management platforms; Flexera is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with IT environments and information security concepts.
• Experience creating and maintaining technical or procedural documentation.
• Desirable: Flexera, software inventory and discovery tools, Oracle databases, or asset management reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to collaborate across global teams and communicate with international stakeholders.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain software asset inventories and license records, including terms and product associations.
• Link purchases, subscriptions and renewals with licenses in SAM tool.
• Support administration and maintenance of the SAM platform, including upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Collect and reconcile installation data to determine compliance and resolve inventory issues with IT Operations.
• Monitor the health of the SAM environment.
• Create reports on software compliance, liabilities and budget information; analyze exceptions and licensing risks.
• Assist sourcing teams with software renewals and maintenance agreements; ensure payments align with contracts.
• Identify underutilised software and opportunities for license reuse or cancellation to drive savings.
• Coordinate software compliance remediation activities and communicate risks to stakeholders.
• Support ISMS documentation and process records; help ensure software management aligns with policies and standards.
• Assist with audits and certification efforts, and contribute to vulnerability management initiatives.
